Service Description
The Level 101 Basics of Comedy Sketch Writing class introduces students to the basics of comedy sketch writing. The curriculum includes an analysis of successful sketch comedy over the years from Carol Burnett to Saturday Night Live. Focus is given to the creation of the premise through brainstorming, defining the beats of a comedy sketch, discovering point of view and developing initial environment. Please note that class dates are subject to change. If you are registered or waitlisted, we will notify you via email of any such changes. Prerequisites: no experience required
Cancellation Policy
Due the limited spaces for students, once you register for a class, there will be no refund given unless the class is canceled by PFI. If you register and then are unable to attend the class, a credit for a future class may be granted by PFI at their discretion.
