Service Description
This class focuses on intense joke writing work. Students will learn to take their basic one-line joke structures learned in Level 101 and develop them into more story-style joke telling. In-depth focus will be given to helping students define their own comedic persona for performance. The class includes one-on-one coaching sessions with the instructor and video analysis of performance style. Upon completing this level, students will perform a full 3 to 5-minute set on the stage at the Birmingham Improv Theatre. This is a writing intensive class so it only meets every other week. Please register with a commitment to investing time into the process. Prerequisite: SUP-LEVEL101.
Cancellation Policy
Due the limited spaces for students, once you register for a class, there will be no refund given unless the class is canceled by PFI. If you register and then are unable to attend the class, a credit for a future class may be granted by PFI at their discretion.
